Talk about down in the weeds......

Nuts. Looks like a Super Tucano or similar. The US variant is the primary trainer of the USAF and USN. I’ve previously compared them to a Monster Miata among planes.
Somewhere in South America? I have a hard time believing he’d get away with this in the US or Europe.

Comments say it’s a Pilatus, maybe in Croatia. But yeah, that’s nuts.

D’oh, that’s what I meant. I get the Pilatus and Tucano mixed up a lot. The Pilatus is actually the basis for the US trainers. They’re ridiculously similar.

I was going to suggest Texan II, which would be Pilatus, IINM.
Bob Hoover once said, and I paraphrase, “It's not how low you can fly, but how precisely you can control your aircraft.

But Tucano would have been in the same genre...

I’m gonna to let you keep posting all the low altitude flights and passes in a minute, but Chris Georgaklis is the greatest low pass flyer of ALL TIME.
And still holds the world record at 0' -0" AGL

So many questions about this....

Pilot was 85 years old.

Follwing his harrowing close call, Georgaklis has decided to retire from flying and will sell his plane for parts, minus the propellers.
And engines, presumably. This guy just totally screwed up and doesn’t sound like he wants to own it. At least he stopped flying, which is a tacit admission of what he did.

My jaw dropped with that GTA stunt at the end.

Pilot was 85 years old .
And still world champion.

Damn. I hadn’t even made it to the end. That was nuts.

Much of that flight is questionable, but the bridge stunt was definitely illegal if this happened in the US.

Definitely not in the US.

That really old one from my home country is pretty cool to watch too, much higher speeds obviously...
